Ukrainian VC fund Digital Future has announced the seed investment round of $675K into the startup Rallyware which has been developing an intelligent engagement solution for the workforce. The other investors that took part in the round were WannaBiz, Seattle-based Lighter Capital and Nick Bilogorsky – a Silicon Valley based angel investor. The funds are set to be used in order to boost the sales and marketing team and efforts of the company as it seeks to expand to the new markets.
Rallyware enables its customers to train, coach, and motivate their workforce via personalized engagement programs which help achieve higher sales, faster employee onboarding, increased participation in corporate activities and other business goals.
“Rallyware is a stand-out example of successful, well-developed technology commercialization. We have been very excited to verify that the service significantly improves engagement, productivity, and retention in enterprises facing the challenges of onboarding and training their large workforces. Rallyware has shown great growth potential to date, and I am really looking forward to seeing the team further realize its development perspectives for the company in the US and beyond.” – says Oleksii Vitchenko, CEO of Digital Future.

Rallyware plans to expand the range of the global companies that can benefit from engaging their distributed workforces via their platform. With 28 present employees across US and Ukraine the company has already managed to double its revenues since the last year and was able to sign such market leaders as Samsung Electronics, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Market America others as customers. Rallyware claims that part of the funding will also go for improving the existing offer to the customers and thus retaining them in the portfolio.
The initial focus of the company was to engage and motivate people in non-profit social and political projects and has quickly grown into the other market niches and use cases. Some of the examples include selling companies, sales organizations, membership networks, associations, volunteers for social and political campaigns, and others.
Digital Future by itself has been one of the most active funds in the region. Earlier this year, Digital Future took part in a US $1 million funding round of the tutoring platform Preply.
