It’s March 24 – time for some fresh Apple products. Starting today, new iPhone SE and iPad Pro are available for pre-order, ahead of their March 31 open availability. Both the iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro are available to order now from Apple (including from the Apple Store app) and its partners in UK, US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore. Dozens of other countries will be added in early April, including more of those in CEE.
The iPhone SE is quite similar to the older iPhone 5S but can boast Apple’s much faster A9 chip, a better camera and flash, and support for Apple Pay via integrated NFC chip and fingerprint sensor. With 64‑bit desktop-class architecture, the A9 chip is supposed to bring users great speed and responsiveness, making it a mighty chip for maximum performance. The new iPhone shall support 802.11ac Wi-Fi and LTE — with speeds even faster than on the older iPhone 5s. iPhone SE is available in space gray, silver, gold, and rose gold finishes in 16GB ($399) and 64GB ($499) storage capacities.
The 9.7-inch iPad Pro is basically the 12.9-inch Pro model transformed into the more traditional iPad body with a better camera. And because of the “Pro” iPad you get support for Apple Pencil, Smart keyboard covers, a 264-ppi Retina display, four speakers, and a fast Apple A9X chip. The 9.7-inch iPad Pro starts at $599 for the 32GB Wi-Fi-only model, and maxes out with a 256GB Wi-Fi + LTE variation for $1,029.
